Specimen graded 67 Premium Paper Quality Superb Gem New by PCGS. PMG Population Report reveals that the highest grade PMG has come across is 66, making this a population of one and finest known! How amazing is it to discover such a gem from a short-lived administration! Perfectly centered with impeccable margins, pronounced embossing, deep inks, and full crispness! Excellent eye appeal portrayed contributing to the well-deserved monster gem grade! A gorgeous leopard is observed at center. Red serial number on the backside. Written in two different languages. The reason this note is particularly desirable among collectors is due to the rapid printing lifespan of notes during the 1950 era of Italian Somaliland. During this era, only six notes were printed, ranging from pick number 11 to 16. A classic African colonial set of notes (1950-51 issues) and a fine example of Art Nouveau style. The golden hues and a beautifully detailed engraving of a leopard on the 5 somali note make it one of the world’s most beautiful bank notes.
